Welcome to the team, Alex Yates
We are delighted to welcome Alex Yates, who has joined us as our new Supported Housing Officer.
Alex will play a key role in delivering our supported housing services, providing a proactive and holistic housing management service.
Her work will focus on helping tenants sustain their tenancies, access support when needed, and engage with community initiatives. She will also lead on tenancy sustainment, ensure tenancy obligations are met, and coordinate with external partners to enhance support for our tenants.
Changes to our Board
In March, we said fond farewells to two valued Board members, Mike Hooper and Malcolm Campbell.
- Mike served as the Board’s finance lead for more than 12 years. He played a significant role in shaping SCHA’s financial strategy and strengthening our financial position.
- Malcolm stepped down after two years of service due to other commitments. He brought extensive experience in mental health management and housing, contributing valuable insight to the Board.
We extend our sincere thanks to both Mike and Malcolm for their dedication and service, and we wish them every success in the future.
A warm welcome to our new finance lead
We are pleased to welcome Dee Rowe, who joined the Board in March 2026 as our new finance lead.
Dee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
She was previously employed by SCHA as our Finance Officer, before retiring in November 2025.
We are delighted to have Dee return as a member of our Board of Trustees.
