Fire door safety works
You may have already noticed work being carried out on fire doors in your building, with some further work still to come.
Fire doors are an important safety feature. They help slow the spread of fire and smoke and keep escape routes clear.
Over time, they can wear down, so we’re checking, repairing and upgrading them to make sure they do their job properly.
The work may include adjusting doors, fitting new seals or closers, or replacing doors where needed. We’ll always aim to keep disruption to a minimum and will let residents know in advance if we need access.
