Pancake Day fun at Phoenix House
All the fun of Pancake Day came to Phoenix House on Tuesday 17 February!
During our coffee morning, we explored the true meaning of Shrove Tuesday and learned some interesting facts about this traditional celebration.
Residents enjoyed taking part in a Pancake Day quiz, testing their knowledge and sharing memories of past celebrations.
No Pancake Day would be complete without a bit of fun! Everyone had a go at tossing a pancake, with lots of laughter along the way. We chatted about our favourite fillings, from classic lemon and sugar to chocolate spread and fresh fruit.
We were also treated to some lovely cupcakes kindly supplied by a resident celebrating their birthday. Thank you for sharing your special day with us!
After our coffee morning, we enjoyed lunch together. A big thank you to our wonderful catering team for producing some very tasty and delicious pancakes for everyone to enjoy.
